The game development industry is composed of 155 million gamers, but only 22% of game developers are female (IGDA Survey 2015). Game Development is an extremely fast growing field and there are tons of tools available for people to get started in the industry. That's why Get Your Game Dev On is hoping to bridge the gap and get girls kickstarted in the gaming industry! This event is for high schoolers.
